The Interlude Dance Troupe review

The Interlude Dance Troupe review

Some friends of mine wanted to get out to an art event recently after inquiring about hair alcohol testing of their doctor and making some other stops throughout the day when they were in London. I gave it some thought and here is a small bit of what I told them.

Whenever you are in London, and are looking to attend some interesting arts events, check out the Interlude Dance Troupe.

This fresh and innovative troupe operates as a non-profit organization aimed at nurturing young dancers and promoting dance. Founded in 2004, the dance company has its home in Finsbury Park at The Factory.

You can often find the Interlude Dance Troupe performing at events such as the Street Dance Weekend Championships, Collabo, and the Breakin'Convention. The company also produces an exclusive event called Kidz Take Kontrol. The troupe has also worked in many television campaigns, too.

The company has five troupes (including one that is all female, and one with members all under 13!) and a special training program for dancers under 21.

The dance troupes all have their own distinct flair, and do their own choreography. The youthful spirit and focus on fresh, innovative movement and dance always excite their audiences. The dedications to the arts, and to young people, make this troupe doubly special. They bring a new feel and inspiration to dance.

You may also be inspired to take a class or workshop, or even join one of their popular dance parties (where participants can choose themes and music) too!

Dance a lifestyle

Dance a lifestyle

Dance is like an Indian cuisine… it’s hard to choose just one. There are many innumerable forms of dances. Some forms of dances have techniques that have developed over centuries whereas few don’t have any techniques. Creativity is the backbone of all dances. Dance has the ability to transport an audience to another world.

Yesterday I was watching a dance program in television it was mind blowing. I loved the choreography, costumes and the music. The most important thing that made the program more spectacular was the Graphic and Art supplies that they used.

I have an incredibly busy lifestyle; I am a home maker and a mom of a three year old daughter, we both tap our feet and leap for joy the moment we hear any music. We love dancing. Dance brings so much of joy and happiness to my busy lifestyle. It keeps my body fit and there is no need for a special fitness therapy. Dancing refreshes my mind, body and soul.

We are living in a world filled with stress, despair and hopelessness. Many of us are tired of our monotonous lifestyle and schedule. Few end up their lives not knowing how to cope up the pressure and take decisions which harm them and others. Few others stop socializing because of their low self esteem. One of the ways to come out of these problems is to spend few minutes daily in dancing. Dance is not complicated or complex. All we got to do is to make the move to the beat. Dance is a universal language which could be understood in any form. And I suggest everyone to make Dance a lifestyle.
