Tango is a special dance that evolved in Buenos Aires, Argentina, around the end of the 19th century. It has been influenced by African, European and native forms of dance and continues to evolve today. Tango has a reputation for its beauty, subtlety, sensuality and is considered to be one of the most difficult to learn. The Argentine Tango is often regarded as the ‘authentic’ Tango and as a significant element of film, literature and the fine arts, the Tango encapsulates the Argentinean identity. Given its dramatic feeling and cultural associations with romance and love, the Tango will be guaranteed to sweep you off your feet.
